3rd Institutional Convocation

On the afternoon of 24 May 2022, another momentous event was held on the 3rd floor of the PLMun Research and Learning Resource Center, the 3rd Institutional Convocation, featuring a highly esteemed Speaker, Dr. Carl E. Balita.
The Vice President for Students' Life and Development, Dr. Danilo B. Solayao led the invocation, followed by the opening remarks by VP for Admin, Finance, & Planning, Engr. Cynthia T. Meneses, and Introduction of the Speaker by VP for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Ramonito A. Mesina.
In accordance to PLMun's 31st Founding Anniversary theme, "PLMun is LOVE: Mahal ko ang Pamilya ko, Tungkulin ko Gagampanan ko", Dr. Balita shared a discussion on the POWER OF LOVE. He shared the secret on seeking and achieving life's purpose by identifying the following facotrs:
- What I am good at
- What I am paid for
- What the world needs
- What I love
He further shared that LOVE has 5 irrefutable outcomes: Life-giving force, Emphatic Compassion, Appreciative Energy, Systems View, and Shared Vision. To achieve the following outcomes, he also presented the 5 irrefutable actions for love, which he formulated as a gift for PLMun:

Passionate pursuit of Life-giving Force
Leveraging Emphatic Compassion
Multiplying Appreciative Energy
Understanding Systems View
Nurturing Shared Vision
The University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE also delivered a special message for the PLMun Community followed by
the song performance of PLMun Kawani Singers, and closing remarks by VP for Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, Linkages, and International Affairs, Dr. Rowena G. Dela Cruz.
The Convocation allowed all PLMun personnel to have a new perspective on LOVE and its application in loving God, family, work, and each other.
