BOOK DONATION TURNOVER CEREMONY: A GENEROUS CONTRIBUTION FROM REX EDUCATION TO PLMUN

In a heartwarming display of community spirit and support for education, REX Education initiated a book donation Turnover Ceremony at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa on 24 October 2024 in the University Board Room. This event marked a significant partnership between REX Education and PLMun, aimed at enriching the academic resources available to the aspiring lawyers of the University.
The ceremony was attended by PLMUN officials, led by Atty. Joseph Noel M. Estrada, Dean of the PLMUN College of Law, EVP Engr. Cynthia T. Meneses and Prof. Aquilino Edmund G. De Lima, Dean of the Institute of Public Policy and Governance. The event also included the presence of Dr. Marites D. Tagulao, Chief of the Presidential Management Staff, alongside representatives from REX Education, including Ms. Jeanne Marie Fontelera-Tordesillas, Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ferdinand Tambasin, Regional Sales Manager for South Luzon, and Mr. Franklin Benedict Guerra, General Manager for Law.
Dr. Danilo B. Solayao, Vice President for Academic Affairs, underscored the value of community collaboration in enriching educational experiences. Dr. Elena E. Presnedi, President Emeritus, further emphasized, “Books are gateways to knowledge and understanding, and we are deeply grateful for this generous contribution, which will benefit our entire PLMUN community.”
The leadership of the University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, was instrumental in facilitating this event. This donation symbolized more than a mere exchange of books; it represented the transformative potential of collaborative partnerships in fostering education and literacy.
This donation not only reinforces the partnership between REX Education and PLMUN but also establishes a model for community engagement in higher education.
