Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) honored its Foundation Week Celebration with a day of pride, reflection, and friendship, marking a watershed moment in its journey of dedication and service. Originating thirty-three years ago, the event was a moving reminder of the organization's long history and the many lives it has impacted since its founding. Starting at 7:00 am, the PLMun community was blessed during a Holy Mass that marked the beginning of the Foundation Day celebration. Followed by the Flag Raising Ceremony led by the Management Committee and an inspiring address were given by the Chairperson of the Commitee on Education of the Muntinlupa City Council, Hon. Coun. Jedidiah Presnedi. The Week-Long Celebration was officially opened by the University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE. There was a tangible sense of fresh purpose and enthusiasm in the air as the celebrations progressed. Firstly, the PLMun students from various colleges provided their intermission performances, and the ROTC fancy drill was witnessed. The celebration carried on as employees reminisced about their experiences from the institution's thirty-three years of existence in the PLMun Almusalan over good food and stories with other colleagues. Also, employees had the opportunity to participate in Sports Fest, meanwhile, the students joined the Palarong Pinoy. As the afternoon progressed, the festivities continued with a spectacular cultural exhibition as the annual Cheerdance Competition, one of the highlights of the 33rd Foundation First Day celebration commenced. The College of Teacher Education (CTE) received recognition for winning the championship.
