Unveiling the College of Medicine
It was a momentous day for the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, Ospital ng Muntinlupa, and City Government of Muntinlupa due to the official launching of the PLMun-OsMun College of Medicine.
The unveiling officially took place during the flag-raising ceremony of the City Government of Muntinlupa at the City Hall Quadrangle, led by the City Mayor himself, Hon. Rozzano Rufino Biazon and other City Officials, witnessed by the Muntinlupa City Hall employees. University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, shared the background information of the College of Medicine and the steps incurred by the University in partnership with OsMun to establish the College of Medicine.
The unveiling was succeeded by a motorcade led by PLMun employees from the City Hall going to the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.
The event highlight, the launching of the PLMun-OsMun College of Medicine, was formally conducted at the PLMun Emerald Hall, attended by Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac, and City Councilors, namely, Coun. Jedidiah Presnedi, Coun. Alexson Diaz. Coun. Atty. Raul Corro, Coun. Rachel Arciaga, Coun. Ivee Arciaga-Tadefa, Coun. Allan Aman Camilon, Coun. Valentino Niefes, Coun. Lester Baes, Coun. Francis Ian Bagatsing, Coun. Eliot Martinez, Coun. Dado Moldez, SK Federation Pres. Coun. Kenichi D. Takagi, Jr.
The launching was also graced by OsMun Director, Dr. Edwin Dimatatac, COM Dean Dr. Christopher Mallore Calaquian, and COM College Secretary Dr. Jimmy Evangelista, as well as COM faculty members.
The audience was delighted with special performances from the Center of Culture and the Arts of the Office of Student Affairs.
