“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31:29 As part of the University's activities for the National Women's Month celebration, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa through the Gender and Development Office will spearhead the Gawad Parangal sa Kababaihan 2023, happening on Thursday, 30 March 2023, from 1:00 PM onwards at the PLMun Emerald Hall.  With this year's celebration, anchored with the theme, "WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society," the University is pleased to have no less than the Chairman of the Philippine Commission for Women, Hon. Sandra Montano as the Keynote Speaker. The occasion will also highlight the awarding ceremony of Gawad Parangal to honorable and distinct women nominated by PLMun employees. It aimed to recognize the exemplary attributes, services, and accomplishments of these women amidst life challenges that shall inspire, motivate, and empower others. These women became a beacon of hope and strength during the pandemic and beyond.Last year, PLMun conducted the first-ever Gawad Kababaihan featuring Ms. Cory Quirino, Sen. Nikki Coseteng, and Hon. Bryan Tamsuan as Keynote Speakers. The University also recognized the following women who emerged as major winners of the Gawad Kababaihan 2022: MS. EDRALYN ELIANG – Melchora Aquino Awardee MS.
