The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) achieved another milestone and sealed a new international engagement through the recently concluded International Partnership Conference and MOU Signing with Ed Value Chain Solutions, Pvt., Ltd., India, last 27 September 2022, at the PLMun Emerald Hall.

Dr. Pravesh Bhadviya, the Managing Director of Ed Value Chain Solutions, Pvt., Ltd., and Mr. Nikkel Dubey from India were warmly welcomed by the PLMun Community through special dance presentations performed by the PLMun Indayog Folkloric Dance Troupe and PLMun Kawani Artists. 

Assoc. Prof. Ramonito A. Mesina, VP for Academic Affairs, delivered the welcoming remarks while USec Neptali B. Gonzales presented the participants. The University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE also addressed the audience through his special message followed by the presentation of Dr. Dan Jefferson Lopez regarding the background and info about PLMun.

The highlight of the event was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ed Value Chain Solutions, Pvt., Ltd., and PLMun, represented by the Management Committee, Deans, and other officials.

On behalf of the University, Dr. Edsel R. Umali, VP for Research, Extension, Quality Assurance, Linkages, and International Affairs, expressed PLMun’s gratitude to its new international partner, while Dr. Pravesh Bhadviya delivered the response from the Partner Institution. The program at the Emerald Hall concluded through the Closing Remarks by Engr. Cynthia T. Meneses, VP for Administration and Finance. 

In a conference with Management Committee officials at the University Board Room, Dr. Bhadviya mentioned the possible areas of academic collaboration:

1. Information Technology and Business Administration 

2. Connect PLMun to other Universities in India

3. Internship and Immersion Programs 

4. Recommended and offered help to be registered with associations of Indian Higher Education Institutions/possible networks 

5. Offered help to connect with speakers in various disciplines for online seminars and conferences

6. Collaboration in Humanities and Social Science Research

7.  Visiting Professors in the College of Graduate Studies
