Basic Life Support and First-aid Training

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa Safety and Health Office conducted a Basic Life Support and First Aid Training last 06 and 07 October 2022, on the 3rd floor of PLMun Research and Learning Resource Center.

Mr. Lorenzo Guzman, Director, PLMun Safety and Health spearheaded the training in partnership with the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management (MCDDRM). Mr. Kristoff Romm De Leon and Sir Andro Orapa (Training Officers) headed by Ms. Amalia T. De Alday, Training Division Of DDRM, discussed the BLS Modules, Seminar on medical and trauma emergencies, demonstrations of bandaging techniques and splinting, as well as actual demonstrations/training of performing CPR, which were also performed by participants. 

The University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, and CCJ Dean, and Asst. Vice President for Administration, Assoc. Prof. Antonio Flores graced the event and delivered inspirational messages to the participants.

The BLS and First Aid Seminar aimed to prepare the 42 participants, composed of 26 new members, 16 officers, and old members of the PLMun Emergency Response Team (ERT), as they render duty and serve PLMun and its community during emergency situations.
