January 01, 1970    PLMun Comm

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) through the Design Center for Nation Building (DCNB) successfully held the ROTC Graduation and Turn-over Command Ceremony during the 2022 NSTP Completion Rites, on 26 June 2022, at the Center Court of the Muntinlupa Sports Complex, Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.

The Management Committee Officials led by the University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, together with the College Deans, witnessed the graduation of the ROTC completers.

The ROTC Graduation highlighted the distribution of awards and certificates to outstanding ROTC students, as well as the turn-over of newly enlisted reservists and their oath of allegiance.

"Life is a battlefield, and we are all warriors fighting in a daily basis", these were the words shared by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Col Ricky Bunayog MNSA (INF) PA, the Group Commander, NCRRCDG, ARESCOM.

Col Bunayog inspired the graduates by sharing three (3) key points in life and career:

First is Leadership, which is an art of influencing others towards a common goal. Col Bunayog encouraged the graduates to always aim for the highest standard of leadership. Second is Teamwork. Col Bunayog mentioned the ROTC mantra, "All for one, one for all" and to "leave no one behind." Indeed, results are better when people work together as a team. He hoped that the students were able to learn this value and embody it in their lives. And last but not the least is to have the Military Mindset. Students were urged to have a mindset with discipline, mindset with courage, and mindset with a purpose. It always make a difference when a person knows his/her purpose. That person will be the last to quit, or never to quit at all.

In closing, Col Bunayog urged the students to integrate the attitude, attributes, training, and discipline they have learned and to use them in all their endeavors.
