1st Semestral-Ender Academic Conference

The PLMun Inservice Training Series 1

3-5 January 2023


In its commitment to constantly improve the teaching and learning strategies in the University and as a preparation for the start of the Second Semester of the Academic Year 2022-2023, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) will spearhead the 1st Semestral-Ender Academic Conference - PLMun Inservice Training Series 1 for all faculty members, happening on 3-5 January 2023, on the 3rd floor of PLMun Research and Learning Resource Center (RLRC).


The Academic Conference will redirect the faculty members through upskilling sessions focusing on specific objectives which will be discussed by in-house Resource Speakers:

 

Prof. Alain J. Anuevo, the Dean of the College of Information Technology and Computer Studies (CITCS), as well as the Vice President for Technology Integration, will discuss the Integrating Educational Technology Framework for PLMUN University Smart Project.

 

It will be followed by the facilitation of a course plan review and finalization workshop and a talk on enhancing general education teaching by Asst. Prof. John Aquilino Edmund De Lima, the

Executive Director of the Institute of Integrated Development Education (IIDE).

 

For the third Session, Assoc. Prof. Lurleen Lacuna, the Dean of the College of Business Administration (CBA) will address the participants on strengthening System Thinking and Management in the Workplace.

 

Finally, participants will learn about Revitalizing Teaching and Learning through the Test Measurement and Evaluation, to be discussed by Dr. Alvin Sicat, a faculty member from the College of Teacher Education (CTE).

 

We are certain that all academic personnel will give their usual support and active cooperation to the University’s introductory event for 2023.
