Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS)

The Center for Internship, Placement, and Alumni headed by its Director Fermae Tamayao, in partnership with PESO Muntinlupa headed by Ms. Glenda Aniñon successfully conducted the Labor Education for Graduating Students at the Center Court of Muntinlupa Sports Complex, yesterday, 24 May 2022.
The LEGS program was graced by the presence of honorable guests led by Muntinlupa City Congressman and Mayor-elect, Hon. Rozzano Rufino Biazon, DOLE MunTaParLas Director Hon. Leonides P. Castillon, Jr., SDO Muntinlupa Superintendent, Dr. Carleen Sedilla, and University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE. The Muntinlupa City Mayor and Congressman-elect, Atty. Jaime R. Fresnedi also extended his warmest greetings to the graduating students through a recorded message.
The program aimed to educate the students on the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of workers and employers, to prepare them for the corporate world.
The Resource Speakers from DOLE, PHILHEALTH, SSS, and PAG-IBIG presented a comprehensive discussion on their mandatory social protection programs and labor standards both for the employees and the employers.
The Vice President for Students' Life and Development (OVPSLD) Dr. Danilo B. Solayao concluded the program with a special message.
