Turnover Ceremony with BPI Foundation, Inc.

The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) gladly received the generous donations of 19 desktop computers and 1 laptop unit from the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Foundations, Inc. during the turnover ceremony last 22 April 2022, on the 3rd floor of the Research and Learning Resource Center.
The BPI officials are led by former Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesperson, former Muntinlupa City Mayor and Congressman, Hon. Ignacio "Toting" Bunye, together with Mr. Owen Cammayo, the Executive Director of BPI Foundation, Inc.
In their message, Mr. Cammayo and Hon. Bunye shared their eagerness to extend support to the community, i.e.PLMun. Aside from this task being part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), BPI also holds the tagline, Bayanihan Matters. They value bayanihan as a way to connect with their clients and other stakeholders. Hon. Bunye also expressed his joy in witnessing the growth and transformation of PLMun, from being a polytechnic College to a University. Hon. Bunye was the one who started the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (former Muntinlupa Polytechnic College) in 1991.
The University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE shared his appreciation and gratitude to BPI Foundation, Inc. and expressed his desire to strengthen and continue this partnership with BPI.
The Director of the Center for International Linkages and International Affairs, Dr. Edsel R. Umali delivered the opening message while the Director of the Center for Quality Management Development, Asst. Prof. Ricky Dimaapi delivered the Closing Remarks.
