Jobs and Career Orientation in Japan

As PLMun continues to enhance the Japanese language training in our university through IPS Corporation, an orientation for jobs and careers was held on August 27, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Soroptimist International Alabang (SIA) Hall. It aims to provide information and answer the attendees' questions. The event commenced with a captivating performance by the PLMun Folkloric Dance Group in the University lobby as a form of welcoming the visitors. A welcoming remark from Engr. Cynthia Meneses, followed by the inspirational message from Councilor Atty. Raul Corro. The visitors were formally introduced by Ms. Ma. Purificacion Gannaban, the Director of the Center for Languages Development, and concluded by Dr. Danilo Solayao. The orientation was initiated by Ms. Erlinda Isomura, the IPS Corporation Yokohama CEO. She discussed the benefits of taking the “Foreign Student Scholarship” and the process that the student should go through while being in the scholarship program. Ms. Isomura briefly explained the process of the foreign student program including the requirement of passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JPLT).
