---
On 25 July, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa and IPS Corporation Yokohama in Japan inked a memorandum of understanding focused on providing employment opportunities, professional development, and academic training for PLMun students and faculty.
One of the main goals of the partnership is to implement a strong program in Japanese language for students and faculty so that they would be globally competitive. The university hopes to see PLMun graduates being recruited by Japanese employers in different careers and industries.
Dr. Raymundo Arcega, CESE, University President, gave the visitors a warm welcome and expressed his gratitude to them, saying that the memorandum would be a way for PLMun to produce graduates who would be able to land jobs not just in the Philippines but also abroad. IPS Corporation Yokohama CEO Erlinda Isomura then gave a detailed discussion on the background of IPS and the different opportunities that await PLMun students and faculty.
The MOU signing once again reinforces the internationalization efforts being done by PLMun.
