The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, in its commitment to promote internationalization and to contribute to a dynamic and harmonious relationship with the global community, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Soroptimist International of Alabang, last Monday, 24 October 2022, at the University Board Room.

The University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, delivered a special message, while Ms. Donna Dwan De Belen and Ms. Farah Acierto presented the profile of Soroptimist International of Alabang.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) affirms the partnership/cooperation of PLMun and Soroptimist International of Alabang in a variety of joint academic and non-academic endeavors such as:

1. Research and Development

2. Scholarship grants and programs

3. Teaching and mentoring

4. Seminars, conferences, training, and workshops

5. Resource Speakers networks

6. Exploratory discussions

7. Policy planning, research, and forums

8. Extension, immersion, and service-learning programs

9. Internship programs

10. Facility enhancement with naming rights

11. Gender and Development programs

12. Women and environmental advocacy

13. Academic Consultations

14. Humanitarian Programs

15. Guidance and Counseling services

Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, and Ms.Donna Dwan De Belen signed the MOU, as witnessed by VP Edsel R. Umali, VP Danilo B. Solayao, Dr. Dan Jefferson Lopez, Atty. Betty Pizaña, Ms. Sheryll Lou Pontillas, Ms. Maria Carmela De Castro, and Ms. Farah Acierto. The Management Committee Officials, College Deans, and Academic and Admin Department Heads were also present during the MOU signing.
