Baccalaureate Service 2022

Few days before the 27th Commencement Exercises of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa, the Graduating Class of 2022, the Batch Himaraya attended the Baccalaureate Service, with the theme: â€œFuture-taking flight: A Journey Born of Dreams, Perseverance, & Resiliencyâ€, on 08 August 2022, at the Center Court of the Muntinlupa Sports Complex, Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.

The Baccalaureate Service is an ecumenical ceremony offered in thanksgiving for the blessings God has bestowed upon the graduates and their families. The first part of the event was dedicated to a Holy Sacrifice of the Mass officiated by Rev. Father Jonathan T. Cadiz, assisted by the PLMun Chorale, conducted by Mr. Efraim Alismo.

Right after the Mass, ecumenical prayers were offered for the graduates, led by Ptr. Ricky Dimaapi for the Christian Faith, and Ms. Sittie Johaira Alawi for the Muslims. The PLMun Chorale led the graduates in performing special song numbers.

One of the event highlights was the Special Message from the Batch Representative, Mr. Abraham Delos Santos, the President of Batch Himaraya. The University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, also delivered his inspirational message centered on overcoming trials and achieving success through perseverance and resiliency.

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs also presented special Academic Awards to selected Graduating students who garnered qualified grades. The awardees received their medals/awards with their proud parents during the Baccalaureate Service.

The PLMun Community congratulates Batch Himaraya on all their success and accomplishments, leading to their graduation.
