Opening Program for the Limited face-to-face ClassesFirst Semester, AY 2022-202330 August 2022The Office of the Vice President for Student Life and Development (OVPSLD) headed by Vice President, Dr. Danilo B. Solayao, led the momentous opening program for the Day 1 of the limited face-to-face classes for the First Semester of AY 2022-2023, last 30 August 2022, at the PLMun Quadrangle.The opening program included the regular flag-raising ceremony as well as the Panunumpa ng Lingkod Bayan for PLMun employees. It also highlighted the University’s concluding event for the celebration of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa. Students from the BS Psychology, BS Accountancy, College of Criminal Justice, and College of Teacher Education had a blast as they witnessed special performances from the Center for Culture and the Arts of the Office of Student Affairs which includes the PLMun Chorale, PLMun Indayog Folkloric Dance Troupe, DulangSining, Blck Mvmnt, and PLMun Euphoria. The PLMun Kawani Artists also entertained the students through a special song and dance presentations.Dr. Danilo B. Solayao presented to the students the officials of the University top-billed by the University President, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, the Vice Presidents, College Deans, Directors, and Department Heads. He also introduced the Heads for the Student Life and Development Cluster.In his message, Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, warmly welcomed the old and new students alike to the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. He also emphasized that for this Academic Year, PLMun expanded the access of students to education as the University accepted almost 5,000 incoming freshmen and transfer students. He also expressed his desire for the students to have a quality academic experience. He also thanked them for choosing PLMun, and to be more patient and understanding with some of the inevitable challenges in the University.
