Congratulations, Ms. Angelyn O. Avisado, an alumni of the College of Criminal Justice for ranking 7th in the recently conducted June 2022 Criminologists Licensure Examination (CLE).
Ms. Angelyn Avisado is a Batch 2021 graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Her journey as a PLMun student started in 2009, however due to financial difficulties she had to stop studying and worked for her family. She was third to the eldest in her family and got four younger siblings, wherein she helped and supported three of them in their studies. When her younger siblings were already in Senior Year in High School, she re-enrolled in the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa in 2017.
Ms. Avisado experienced hardships and difficulties upon her re-enrollment since the Curriculum has been revised and updated. During these years, she continued to become a working student with her full-time work in a BPO company, Optum Global Inc. She was still working with Optum Global when she took the CLE in June 2022 and landed 7th in the examination.
In her statement, Ms. Avisado emphasized the valuable learnings she obtained from Pamantasan: "As a working student, I learned the value of hard work, time
management, efficiency and commitment. In the future, I am hoping
that I can also contribute to our Alma Mater by sharing my knowledge
and assisting my fellow alumni in conquering the Criminologist
Licensure Examination. For now, I am planning to apply to different
government agencies related to my course. Through this, I will have a
good chance to improve and gain the skills I need to achieve my
goals. I am deeply grateful to all my mentors/professors, supervisors and
batch mates who have been very considerate and helpful which leads me
to this greatest moment of my life. To God be the Glory!"
