January 25, 2023    PLMun Comm
On the second day of the Institutional Assembly for Trust and Faith (IATF) or Spiritual Session of PLMun employees for this week, Pastora Megan Magan of Send the Light Ministries, Inc. - Tunasan, shared the Five-fold Purpose of the Bible rooted to the key verses found in 2 Timothy 3:14-17.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 states "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Pastora Megan emphasized the significance of God's Word and its major impact on those who read and obey it. She further shared the following purposes of God's Word:
1. To reveal the One True God.
2. To reveal how to be saved.
3. To reveal God's Power.
4. To reveal God's Promises.
5. To reveal God's Plan.
She also mentioned a quote from a Christian preacher, R. C. Sproul, which said "The more I expose myself to the Word of God, the greater my faith will be."
She further encouraged everyone to daily meditate on God's Word, claim God's promises, and apply its teachings to our lives.
This week's IATF is being hosted by the Office of the Assistant Vice President for Finance, led by AVP Melissa A. Untalan.
