24th Management Committee Meeting
The Management Committee convened last 13 October 2022 for the 24th Regular MANCOM Meeting at the University Board Room.
ManCom officials resumed the discussions of unfinished businesses from the previous meeting with the presentation of Dr. Danilo B. Solayao, VP for Students’ Life and Development about the Proposed Design and Specifications of the diploma. This was followed by the report of AVP for Finance, Ms. Melissa Untalan, regarding the Policy Guidelines on the sales of books and others, and Policy Guidelines on the University store operation. Moreover, VP for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Ramonito Mesina also presented the Policy Review on Petition of Classes, Policy Review on Star Award, and Policy Guidelines on Faculty Exemption for Online Classes. AVP for Technology Integration Assoc. Prof. Alain J. Anuevo reported the Policy Review on Data Privacy, followed by the presentation of the College of Graduate Studies Dean, Dr. Remedios R. Cunanan regarding the Proposed Study Now Pay Later scheme for the Executive Master’s Program.
Under the Presentation of Reports agenda, Dir. Alni Gavjaymin Casacop reported the Accreditation Update. Selected PLMun programs will undergo accreditation on the first week of December 2022, by the Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities. Dir. Casacop also presented the special report on benchmarking activities conducted at City College of Calamba, Lyceum of the Philippines University Laguna, Colegio ng Lungsod ng Batangas, and the University of Batangas. This report was succeeded by the updates/progress report on Graduation Related Tasks (Yearbook, Pictures, Medals, etc.) by VP Solayao.
Lastly, Ms. Emily V. Acero, HRDMO Head presented the program and plans for the 3-day leadership forum series entitled, Supervisory Development Training, happening from 14 to 16 October 2022, at Teacher’s Camp, Baguio City.
